Although it appears on many companies' lists of named reactions, most can only do it "with plant modifications". Pentagon are one of only a few companies with a purpose-built Grignard facility which was designed to excel at producing materials from this demanding chemistry.
Pentagon produce a range of reagents in standard concentrations in solvent systems including Tetrahydrofuran (THF), Methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE), Diethyl ether (DEE), Di-N-Butyl ether (DNBE) as well as Toluene/THF mixtures. The Grignard synthesis offers an extremely flexible route to the manufacture of a variety of final products.
